Augustine College’s Weston Lecture 2008

Augustine College’s Annual Weston Lecture is scheduled this year for Friday, March 7th, 7:30 p.m. in the Auditorium of the University of St. Paul, 223 Main Street, Ottawa.  The speaker is Prof. Craig M. Gay from Regent College in Vancouver, B.C..  His address is entitled, “DIALOGUE: The Heart that Beats at the Centre of Life”.  This is a free public lecture.

Augustine College Hymn Sing

The Annual Augustine College Hymn Sing will take place on Saturday, October 13th, 2007, at 7:30 p.m. in St. Barnabas A & M Anglican Church, Kent Street at James, OTTAWA.  This is an evening of Scripture, reflection, and the bold singing of great hymns of the Christian Faith, accompanied by a magnificent pipe organ played by Wesley Warren.  Refreshments follow in the Church Hall.

Episcopal Visit

Our Bishop for Central Canada, the Rt. Rev. Carl Reid, will be making his first episcopal visit to the Parish of St. Barnabas Apostle & Martyr, Spencerville on Sunday, October 28th, (Feast of St. Simon & St. Jude, Apostles), 2007.  Bishop Carl will be with us for the 10:00 service that morning in the “Upper Room” of the Town Hall in Spencerville, 18 Centre Street.
